Live From Apple Lets Talk iPhone Event

Here we go! Apple’s “Let’s Talk iPhone” event will be starting at 1 p.m. Eastern Time (10 a.m. Pacific) today, and PCMag will be reporting live from Apple’s Cupertino campus with all the news. But be sure to be here at 12 noon ET, when PCMag’s lead mobile analyst Sascha Segan will kick off a open-mic preview discussion of the iPhone. As for Apple’s plans, all we know for sure is that Apple will use today’s event to talk about the iPhone (yep, we got that from the title). Of course, there’s been the requisite truckloads of rumors and speculation that accompany an iPhone event, but many reports have led to more questions than answers. (Click here for a detailed breakdown of the expectations). There will be a new iPhone—that’s pretty much guaranteed. What it will be, though, isn’t clear. It could be a complete redesign of the current model, with a bigger screen and thinner profile. Or it could be slight upgrade from the current iPhone 4, just with a faster chip and fancier camera.
